What I collect and why

Register-interest list. If you sign up on this website, I store your email address so I can let you know when lessons start and send occasional news about lessons. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You confirm your sign-up by clicking a link in a confirmation email, and every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also ask me to delete your address at any time.

Emails you send me. If you email me, I use your message and contact details only to reply to you.

Who processes your data

EmailOctopus stores the register-interest list and sends the emails on my behalf.
Netlify hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

I don’t sell or share your data with anyone else.

Cookies and tracking

I use Statcounter to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages they look at. This is aggregate traffic data, not personal profiling. This website sets no cookies. Fonts are served from this website, not from third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Just email me. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
